Join the Youth

Catholics across California will celebrate the 2nd Laudato Si’ California Youth Summit, by walking and praying with young people as they lead us in a Public Witness and advocacy meetings in Sacramento on Monday April 20th, 2026, at the State Capitol.

High school students from across California will be coming together in Sacramento for this pilgrimage of hope in action. Can you join them? We are asking adults to stand with our young people to honor the appeal to the youth by our Holy Father Pope Leo XIV – “Your voices, your ideas, your faith matter right now, and the Church needs you. The Church needs what you have been given to share with all of us.” — Pope Leo’s message at the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) on Nov. 21, 2025
